In July and August 2022, Brittany had experienced a nightmarish summer with record fires in the Arrée mountains. At the beginning of August, 4,000 hectares had gone up in smoke in Brocéliande.
“We feel helpless”

You feel helpless”, remembers Clémentin Thébault. Contrary to popular belief, the Breton forest is a place more prone to fires than the Mediterranean rim.
