To stop the arrival of migrants from the Channel, Rishi Sunak, British Prime Minister, defends his plan to send people back to Rwanda, aware of his political future at stake. In Parliament, the debate is tumultuous: two conservative deputies have even resigned, believing that the law does not go far enough. For his part, Rishi Sunak is confident: “I am absolutely convinced that this plan will work, because I think it is important to resolve this problem,” he explained.
Pro-democracy demonstrations in Germany
For several days in Germany, thousands have taken to the streets. The reason ? They come to defend democracy against racism and the far-right AfD party. A resident of Cologne says: “Cologne is a colorful city and must remain so.” Another demonstrator added: “It is time to show that we are the most numerous and that we do not accept Nazi methods.”
