The flash participations of David Oyelowo, Helena Bonham Carter, Olivia Williams and Dominic West had already been confirmed by the broadcaster, Prime Video. The dramatic comedy focuses on the glories and setbacks of a prestigious Parisian talent agency. Each episode features a screen star who plays their own role with humor and derision.
Cécile de France, Fabrice Luchini, Julien Doré, Isabelle Adjani, Michel Drucker, Juliette Binoche, Monica Bellucci, Jean Reno, Charlotte Gainsbourg or even Jean Dujardin have notably lent themselves to the game in the French series created by Dominique Besnehard and Fanny Herrero.
The tragico-comic tribulations of partners Andréa Martel (Camille Cottin), Mathias Barneville (Thibault de Montalembert), Gabriel Sarda (Grégory Montel) and Arlette Azémar (Liliane Rovère) as well as rookie Camille Valentini (Fanny Sidney) caused a stir on Netflix for four seasons. Last year, Call My Agent! — a title translated for the English-speaking market — was crowned Best Comedy at the Emmy Awards.
The transposed box agents in London will be played by Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Maggie Steed, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Hiftu Quasem, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Rebecca Humphries, Harry Trevaldwyn and Jim Broadbent.
Ten Percentwritten and directed by John Morton (Twenty Twelve, W1A), will premiere in Canada on Prime Video next spring.
