The second season of The Bridgerton Chronicle will no longer focus on the Bridgerton family and Daphne, a character played by Phoebe Dynevor (and renamed Daphne Bassett after her marriage to Simon Bassett, a role played by the seductive Regé Jean-Page). She will look into a new love story featuring Lord Anthony Bridgerton. The eldest son of the clan (played by Jonathan Bailey) is also looking for a sweetheart and he falls for two sisters, Kate and Edwina Sharma (Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran).
Anthony first tries to seduce the youngest, Edwina. Kate discovers the young man’s real intentions and does everything possible to prevent her younger daughter from marrying him. Surprisingly, Kate gets closer to Anthony herself, with whom she engages in real verbal sparring. Season 2 of The Bridgerton Chronicle will be available on Netflix from March 25, 2022.
