PSG has been warned. On Sunday February 25, one of the fittest teams currently in Ligue 1 takes to the pitch at the Parc des Princes to challenge the Parisian ogre: Stade Rennais. With six consecutive victories in the championship, the Bretons are in the midst of a renaissance since the return of Julien Stéphan to their bench. Having returned to contact with European places, Rennes however remains on course for elimination on Thursday, in the Europa League play-offs, despite its victory against AC Milan (3-2).
For its part, PSG had a week without a European match, which finally gave Luis Enrique’s men a little breathing room, after their victory in Nantes on Saturday February 17. Undefeated in the league since September, PSG hovers over Ligue 1, ten points ahead of its runner-up Brest, winner in Strabourg (3-0). Brest which is also the last opponent who managed to hold Paris on its lawn (2-2, January 28). Since then, the Parisians have scored three victories in a row. Rennes is also warned.
