You (almost) don’t change a winning team. As in the first four games of the Six Nations Tournament, Union Bordeaux-Bègles player Cameron Woki starts in the second line to face England. He will celebrate Saturday evening (9 p.m. at the Stade de France, live on France Bleu Gironde) his 16th selection for the Blues. This will be the seventh for the UBB scrum-half Maxime Lucu if he enters during the match, as he has done in each match of the Tournament. He will sit on the bench at kick-off.
Three-quarters of the Union, Yoram Moefanacame into play against Italy, then holder against Ireland, Scotland and Wales, had injured against the Leek XV and had to forfeit. He is replaced as winger by Clermontois Damian Penaud, back after contracting the Covid. Return also of Romain Taofifenua, the second line, who was in the same case, and who takes place on the bench, in place of Matthis Lebel. These are the only two changes compared to the France team which won in Wales (9-13) on Friday March 11.
If they beat England this Saturday, the Blues will win their first Six Nations Tournament since 2010, the year also of their last Grand Slam.
