The supply difficulties in the stations benefit the trains. We find the journalist Alexandre Peyrout, live from Montparnasse station, Friday, October 21, who confirms that the trips are busy.

Friday, October 21, the journeys are rather calm on the roads but this is not the case in the stations. “The trains were clearly full for its All Saints holidays. The SNCF recorded four million tickets sold over the period, of which one million were reserved over the last ten days”reports the journalist Alexandre Peyroutlive from Montparnasse station (Paris). “Several travelers we met this morning told us that they preferred to leave their car in the garage and prefer the rail to go on vacation”he continues.

“The railway company expects bookings 10% higher this year over the period compared to 2019, the reference year before the Covid-19 epidemic”says Alexander Peyrout. Departures on vacation should go smoothly because no strike action has been planned at the SNCF in the coming days.
