Investigators found a body on Wednesday January 31, in Lake Saint-André, in the town of Fabas, in Haute-Garonne. The Toulouse public prosecutor’s office confirms that it is that of Luca, a young resident of Cugnaux, who disappeared two weeks ago, France Bleu Occitanie reported on Friday February 2. The autopsy reveals a “death by asphyxiation”specifies the public prosecutor.

The 21-year-old young man had not given any signs of life since an evening spent in Portet-sur-Garonne. His vehicle was found completely burned, more than 80 km away, in the town of Cardeilhac in the west of Haute-Garonne.

Four suspects arrested

Three men, aged 19 to 21, were indicted and placed in pre-trial detention for “organized gang murder” on Friday January 26. The three suspects are involved in drug trafficking and one of them wore an electronic bracelet. The Toulouse public prosecutor’s office indicates that a fourth person was arrested this week.
