A resident of Alexain had not given any sign of life since Saturday March 19, when he was last seen near Andouilllé at the wheel of his car. On March 23, the vehicle was spotted in Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne. The next day, the Mayenne gendarmes launched a search notice to try to find this 75-year-old man.
Unfortunately, his body was found as revealed by our colleagues from Ouest-France. According to information confirmed by France Bleu Mayenne, the discovery took place on Tuesday March 29, in the Mayenne river in the town of Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne, by a gendarme who was monitoring the area. Police divers were called in as reinforcements.
The trail of suicide is favored by the investigators.
