During the night from Saturday to Sunday, firefighters discovered the body of a 26-year-old woman in a van parked on the banks of the Rhône. From a judicial source, she was kidnapped a few hours earlier in Bourgoin-Jallieu in Isère by her ex-spouse, the main suspect.
It is a little past midnight on the night of Saturday to Sunday when the firefighters of Lyon received a telephone call indicating the presence of a body in a vehicle parked near the Saint Joseph Saint Luc hospital in Lyon (7th arrondissement).
According to the press release from Dietlind Baudoin, the public prosecutor of Bourgoin-Jallieu (Isère), it is the mother of the child found a few hours earlier, alone, in a parked car in Bourgoin-Jallieu (38).
The latter having already been the victim of domestic violence by the father of the child, he is therefore actively sought. Especially since it was this same man, aged 32, who had asked his own mother to pick up his son from the car parked in Bourgoin.
The research will lead to the macabre discovery of the middle of the night.
This morning, at 11:40 a.m., the main suspect finally surrendered to the Lyon judicial police. He was taken into custody.
“The investigation opened for spousal homicide was entrusted to the judicial police of Lyon, co-seized with the police station of Bourgoin-Jallieu”, concludes the press release from the prosecutor.
