A macabre discovery was made in front of a building in the 19th arrondissement, in Paris. The bound body of a 12-year-old girl was found in a trunk. The girl lived in an apartment nearby. Several throat wounds were found on the teenager’s body. The disappearance of the young girl had been reported by her parents in the afternoon of October 14, because she had not returned from college.

Thanks to CCTV footage, the girl’s father had managed to track down his child. It was while looking at these images that he had saw his daughter accompanied by a young woman around 3:20 p.m..

The latter, aged 24, was arrested in Bois-Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine) and placed in police custody by investigators, Saturday, October 15. This woman had asked for help to carry a heavy suitcase the evening before the tragedy. The Paris criminal brigade is in charge of the investigation.
