Three days after its overwhelming success against Gibraltar (14-0), the French team travels to Athens, Tuesday, November 21, to face Greece in its last match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Guaranteed to finish at the top of their group and already qualified for the competition which will take place from June 14 to July 14 in Germany, Kylian Mbappé’s teammates have the opportunity to end their year in style.
A victory would ensure that France ends the year in first place in the Fifa rankings, a first since 2001. Faced with the Greeks who remain on a defeat (1-0) against the Netherlands in the qualifiers, the Blues are therefore favorites but will have to do without certain frames. In the cages, Mike Maignan will notably leave his place to Lensois Brice Samba, who will celebrate his second selection. Follow the meeting.
