“She was extraordinary”

“It was a rehearsal and there was a change in choreography that she forgot for a second and it went off and we had to stop for three weeks”, first confided Mélanie Laurent. More concerned about the health of her protégé than by the delays that this incident caused, the director subsequently praised the professionalism of her actress, whom she found “extraordinary”.

“That’s where I really realized that choosing Adèle was not only because I had written for her, not only because she is a remarkable actress, not only because she is a professional, not only because of all that, but she still passed out, she had blood everywhere and she said to me: ‘I hope you filmed the scene’. That’s the first thing she said”. If Adèle Exarchopoulos showed exceptional courage, Félix Moati, on the other hand, “fainted when he saw that she had fallen.” A surprising anecdote to say the least!
