The Montreal Canadiens’ farm club in the ECHL thus maintained a 1-2 record against this team this weekend.

In the final duel, goaltender Joe Vrbetic allowed all four Grizzles goals. The CH’s seventh-round pick in the 2021 draft was thwarted by pitches from Tyler Penner, Dakota Raabe, Cam Strong and Victor Bartley. He faced a total of 19 shots.

Coming in relief, Quebecer Philippe Desrosiers was perfect on the 10 shots sent in his direction.

In addition, Cameron Wright stood out among crowd favorites. The 24-year-old has been instrumental in three of his teammates’ successes.

The Lions will soon be back in Mauritius and will play their next game on Friday evening. For the occasion, the Iowa Heartlanders will be at the Colisée Vidéotron.
