In “The black book of school canteens”, a survey carried out by journalist Sandra Franrenet, the veil is lifted concerning school canteens. She became interested in the subject through her children who certainly found the canteen bad but it went further than that.
But be careful Sandra Franrenet does not tell us either that we eat badly in all the canteens of France. She’ll just wonder around some of them and discover that it is an opaque medium. We realize during our reading that it is particularly difficult to really know what is hidden in the plates of our children. Problems with processed foods, too much sugar, plastic containers and even waste.
Interviews and expert testimonials also come to enlighten us in this edifying book “The black book of school canteens” published by Leduc editions which will not, I promise you, leave you hungry!
