Between cooking advice on one side and baby news on the other, in this supermarket in Chartres, the cashier and her customers take the time to chat, exchange views and even joke. Marie-Christine, the hostess, volunteered to manage this blabla cash register, launched in mid-January.

At the beginning, I always liked to discuss with people. For me, it seemed obvious to me and it does not change my usual work.

Intended to recreate social ties, this concept imported in 2019 from the Netherlands, has met with a certain enthusiasm, undoubtedly linked to the pandemic.
