Saturday December 16, 2023, more than seven million viewers of the first channel were in front of their television sets to witness the most famous beauty contest… A ceremony lasting more than three hours at the end of which, it is finally Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Ève Gilles, who won against the four finalists.
The 20-year-old young woman from Quaëdypre, a small town of 1,092 inhabitants, succeeds Indira Ampiot.
A regional Miss who attracted the attention of Internet users from the start of the ceremony to the extent that this second year MIASHS license student (mathematics and computer science applied to the human and social sciences) was the smallest in the competition, but also the only one to display a short haircut on the Dijon Zenith stage.
A difference which has more to the 100% female jury chaired by Sylvie Tellier. And for good reason, it was the vote of the latter which allowed Eve Gilles to take first place and win the coveted crown… Only that is if the short haircut of the beauty queen seduced the former director of the Miss France committee, some Internet users were disappointed with the final choice… And unfortunately, since the evening of her election, the sublime Ève Gilles is the subject of cyberharassment on the Web. A shame insofar as the latter precisely answered a question on school harassment during the election. Indeed, the latter was asked to say what words she would have used to console a child who was a victim.

“Her response disappointed some people because she started talking about herself. But these people didn’t know that Eve was really going through a wave of harassment and she simply spoke about her own experiences, that you should go ahead and talk to your loved ones about it. For me, his answer was correct,” indicated Miss Vallée de la Hem 2023 who became friends with Miss France 2024 since the regional competition.
