The Public Senate audience soared during the debates on the pension reforms: +67% in March 2023. Viewers were able to see more peaceful discussions than in the National Assembly, but nonetheless muscular, sometimes, opponents of the text having made their voices heard. More generally, the public channel, whose budget is allocated by the office of the Senate, has benefited from renewed interest since the legislative elections of 2022, where Parliament was strongly renewed.

At the head of Public Sénat for two years, Christopher Baldelli has launched a dozen new programs, such as “Sens public” presented by Thomas Hugues, or a sport and society program with Anne-Laure Bonnet. He had also called on a novice in animation, Denis Olivennes, current general manager of Releaseto embody the literary event “Au bonheur des livres“ : “It is not excluded that Denis is called to new functions in the world of publishing, so he stops the show because it became incompatible”explains the CEO, without revealing the name of his successor. “It rushes to the gate to succeed him”, confides Christopher Baldelli, media guest of Célyne Baÿt-Darcourt.
