The spectator, author of monkey cries at the end of the National 1 match between Nancy and Red Star, Wednesday, was identified by the Nancy club on Friday October 13. The Lorraine club announced its decision to ban him from the stadium for five years. “We identified the perpetrator, he handed himself in to the policedeclared Nabil El Yaagoubi, deputy director general of ASNL. We are going to ban him from the stadium for five years thanks to the Larrivé law.” This law gives clubs the possibility of refusing the sale of tickets to certain spectators who are not yet banned from stadiums, and who they will be able to file electronically.

Images from video surveillance cameras at the Marcel-Picot stadium made it possible to identify the individual. “We have only identified one person. We have the images. There is only one individual who was arrested. We called for witnesses, we did not get any feedback to tell us the opposite. The Red Star players also identified an individual who was making gestures.”added Mr. El Yaagoubi, before continuing.

“The procedure is no longer with us, it is with the courts. We have filed a complaint at the police station”, he concluded. The disciplinary committee of the French Football Federation will also open a procedure on this matter, the FFF announced Thursday evening.
