France Bleu Provence is a partner of the 11th edition of the “Nouv.o.monde” film festival organized by Les Films du Delta in Rousset, Trets and Aix-en-provence from Friday September 30 to Sunday October 9, 2022.
The Rousset Film Festival – Pays d’Aix “new world” aims to shed light, with the filmmaker’s perspective, on the movements of the world and the social issues that concern us and question us in the “Original Version”.
A journey to the heart of cinematographic creation
This 11th edition offers us through 23 screenings, a journey to the heart of current international cinematographic creation.
You will discover feature films in previewfirst works, sessions of thematic short films by directors from 15 countries: Germany, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, Spain, United States, Finland, France, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Macedonia, Morocco, Kingdom United, Ukraine.
33 films punctuated by the pulses of the world
33 films like so many heartbeats punctuated by the pulsations of the world that tell us singular and universal stories. Stories of family and modern heroines, of transmission and emancipation, of love and fraternity, of the bicycle and the planet, of memory and resilience, of commitment and solidarity, of corruption and resistance.
This year, two screenings with the filmmaker Philippe Faucon, a window on young Ukrainian and Iranian cinema which attest to the strength of artists to bear witness, resist and uphold cinema and freedom of expression.
Meetings, exhibitions…
The meetings following the screenings are real spaces for questioning, exchanging, share emotions, enrich oneself with the eyes of others and prolong these moments of cinema. A moment when amateurs and professionals can simply confront their vision of the world and of cinema.
Exhibitions, concerts, book signings, readings, conferences, choreographic creation are organized in close connection with the themes, in order to enrich, thanks to other forms of art, the themes approached by the filmmakers.
