Between Sainte Foy la Grande and Bergerac, come to Gardonne on Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September for the Festival Arts en Fête, organized by the association The Trèfle Gardonnais, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary with us.
Created in 1922 as a sports association, the association evolved ten years later towards artistic practices and now offers orchestra, bandas with around forty amateur musicians and lessons (piano, guitar, drums, saxophone, trumpet, etc.) . The association also has the only steel drum ensemble in the department, The styles of the can.
The Trèfle Gardonnais has 200 members and they are waiting for us for the opening concert Friday evening at 9 p.m. with the beatbox world champions, Berywam. An important artistic choice for the president of the association, Christophe Rougier, who once again wanted to prove the diversity of musical approaches but also to show that music can be made without means (financial or material). On Saturday there will also be workshops for musical and sports practices and discoveries to involve other partners and local associations. We will discover in particular an astonishing instrument: the bao pao.
Saturday evening at 7 p.m. in a bodega atmosphere, bandas and concert by Santa Machetean afro-soul-cumbia brass band for an even more festive atmosphere!
Sunday morning, musical hike in partnership with the town hall of Lamonzie Saint Martin and La Fête de la Rivière, part of the walk can be done by boat. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Fernand Mourgues complex in Gardonne.
