The drone war continues. Ukraine claimed to have shot down a missile and twenty Russian attack drones on the night of Saturday December 16 to Sunday December 17. According to the military, the missiles were fired from Crimea and the occupied Kherson region. On the Russian side, the Ministry of Defense announced that its forces had “intercepted and destroyed” 33 Ukrainian drones in three border regions (Lipetsk, Rostov and Volgograd).
Ukrainian drone attacks have become almost daily in Russian regions bordering Ukraine. In recent months, they have also targeted the Russian capital Moscow and its surrounding areas. Russia, for its part, bombs Ukrainian cities on a daily basis. This week, it carried out a massive drone attack on southern Ukraine and targeted kyiv using ballistic missiles, the debris of which injured around fifty people.
