The Ardèche chestnut will be on M6 this Wednesday evening! The Ardèche department is honored in the kitchens of the show “Top Chef, the chef of chefs” after the Picodon Drôme last year. The show offers a duel between two former “Top Chef” candidates who will have to prepare dishes based on Ardèche chestnuts.
It was Patrice Galiana who brought them to the studios of the M6 channel. He operates with Véronique Dupuy a chestnut grove in the south of Ardèche, in Laboule. The shooting took place last November, at the end of the chestnut season and Patrice Galiana tasted the dishes of the two former winners of “Top Chef” Sarah Mainguy and Victor Mercier. “I’m here to participate in the tasting. There is a good exchange, the cooks have a lot of imagination. What I tasted is very surprising, it’s very interesting!“rejoices the Ardèche producer. With the journalist and food critic François-Régis Gaudry, he will have to decide between the two chefs and choose a single dish.
