The year 2021 is that of the disappearance of Jean-Paul Belmondo, and the entry into the Pantheon of Joséphine Baker. On Wednesday December 29, the 20 Hours teams go back in time and review the cultural events that marked the year.
Cinema theaters, sadly sparse in 2021, have not prevented culture from expressing itself, however. Jean-Paul Belmondo, sacred monster of the seventh art with dizzying charm, has meanwhile bowed out. More than an actor, it is a monument that has disappeared.
Another monument was packaged: the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, “packed” in September by the artist Christo, lastingly marking the minds of art lovers and passers-by. After 28 years of career masked, the group Daft Punk has announced his separation. The heroes of the series Squid Game, have conquered the world and seduced 111 million fans. Finally, Joséphine Baker made her entry into the Pantheon in December.
