Project winner of the sustainable development trophies, the apiary of Manzac sur Vern is one of the many actions implemented to make children aware of environmental issues.
Every year, in the spring, the pupils of the school take care of the three beehives, with their combinations, and when the harvests are good (unfortunately, this was not the case this year), they can collect honey.
Around this apiary, there are also other projects that have been set up: a mosaic on the school on the theme of flowers and bees, meetings with beekeepers, honey producers, cookbooks around honey. . In short, these children will be real honey specialists!
