APEF plays with words. The personal services network which offers cleaning, DIY and gardening hours has three agencies in Haute-Garonne and soon a 4th in Muret. This network has 70 to 80 employees. It has a new slogan: “APEF is not recruiting, APEF is being recruited“. Florian Breton the manager of the Toulouse Center Sud agency explains to us.
With this new slogan, what do you mean? Do you let your future employees choose you?
In fact, we are breaking the recruitment codes a bit. And the idea is that candidates interested in personal services, whether they are experienced in the sector or not, give the APEF a chance as an employer, since the principle in our agencies is to really practice benevolent management, to open the door to anyone who wishes to be useful to families, seniors or working people. They recruit us as an employer, quite simply, they make themselves known even without a CV, even without experience in personal service.
Human services remains a sector where it is very difficult to recruit, are you lacking staff?
We are still missing people, needs are growing given the aging of the population, given the wish of all these people to stay at home, we really need more and more employees. Especially since during the confinement some (of our employees editor’s note) made the choice to change jobs.
What salary do you offer?
Salary is generally set a little above the minimum wage and this is not the only advantage. There is also a consideration of transport, and training time. The schedules are made at the convenience of the employees, so as to limit travel, the interventions with the beneficiaries are linked well. Our employees have good working conditions, less fatigue and more availability for their families.
The APEF network will be present at employment forum September 15 at the Cépière shopping center in Toulouse. He is looking to recruit 30 employees.
