A piece that reminds of beautiful moments. Paradethe anthem of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, has been available on streaming platforms since midnight on Friday, September 13. Paris 2024 music director Victor Le Masne, who composed the song, said: “very happy” when announcing it and promised the upcoming release of other tracks from the Games soundtrack. The track Parade is now available on Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Tidal and Qobuz. Two versions can be listened to: one full (11 minutes) and one short (5 minutes and 40 seconds).
This title, unveiled during the arrival of the Olympic flame in Marseille on May 8, was broadcast throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games, in particular during the torch relays and the medal presentations to the athletes. It is also the melody that launched the river parade on the Seine, during the opening ceremony on July 26 in Paris. Parade starts with a light, pop tune, with violins, then builds up in power with a symphony orchestra, moves to an epic register with choirs, to become an electro loop typical of the French Touch, with a festive coloring.
