François Braun hires “the strong investment of professionals in the field, both hospital and liberal”but adds that he wants to stay “careful”, because “summer is not over”.

However, he notes “an increase in calls to the Samu of around 20%”proof according to him that the official instruction “to call 15 before moving” was heard. “This message has passed”he points out, stating that “prior medical regulation can work”while dozens of emergency services have used it to filter their access, according to a survey carried out in July by the Samu-Urgences de France association.

The measure was among the 41 proposals of the flash mission submitted by the minister just before entering the government. The results of this mission must be evaluated “for the end of September”in order to “integrate certain effective provisions” in the 2023 Social Security budget, he concludes.
