The United States Embassy in France advises its nationals not to frequent the Villepinte Exhibition Center area (Seine-Saint-Denis), Sunday, December 5, due to a risk of“violent clashes” on the sidelines of Eric Zemmour’s meeting. From “Antifa groups called for protests and other actions to disrupt this rally”, write the American services (in English), also evoking the presence of “extreme right and extreme left groups” in demonstrations of support or opposition to the presidential candidate.

The US Embassy is also concerned about a risk of“violent clashes” on the sidelines of the gathering scheduled for 1 p.m. between Barbès and Parc de la Villette, at the call of several unions and political parties. The American authorities say they have instructed their employees to avoid the Parc des Expositions, the march and the demonstration at La Villette, as well as the RER B and the A1 motorway between Paris and Charles-de-Gaulle airport. They recommend that American nationals do “show of caution” and adopt “a low profile” in the presence of possible clashes.

After announcing that the meeting would be held at the Zénith in the Parc de la Villette, Eric Zemmour’s entourage finally chose the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte. The candidate’s entourage admitted, Thursday, to having changed his mind so as not to put in “danger” the public because of the expected demonstrations.
