Adams, 29, spent five seasons with the Alouettes and played 56 games with the team. In five games this season, he has thrown a touchdown pass, completing 21 of 39 passes for 294 yards.
The former University of Oregon Ducks color holder played 67 games in the CFL, including 56 with the Alouettes, in 2016 and 2017, as well as from 2018 to 2022. His other 11 games were played with the Saskatchewan Roughriders at the end of the 2017 season.
Adams completed 505 of 820 career passes for 6,988 yards with 43 touchdowns to 26 interceptions. The Pasadena, Calif. native also rushed 203 times for 978 yards and 20 touchdowns.
His best season came in 2019, when he was named a CFL All-Star for passing 3,942 yards and 24 touchdowns, and tied for the Ambrosie league lead with 12 touchdowns. on the ground.
