(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes have signed American defensive lineman Trey Botts to a two-year contract, until the end of the 2025 season.
The six-foot-three, 281-pound colossus played four seasons and 43 games with the Colorado State University ThunderWolves in Pueblo.
In 2022, the Aurora, Colorado native won the title of best defensive player in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. He finished the year with 66 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
At the end of his college career, the 24-year-old signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens and was drafted by the Philadelphia Stars of the USFL.
