The Alouettes agree with Pierre-Luc Caron

(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes and long snap specialist Pierre-Luc Caron have signed a new two-year contract.

The six-foot-two, 220-pound footballer has been in uniform for the Alouettes’ 18 games in 2022, in addition to the two playoff games.

Caron had four special teams tackles. His work allowed kicker David Côté to maintain a field goal percentage of 86.3%, good for fourth in the league and finished second with a 97.3% percentage for successful conversions.

The Laval native joined the Alouettes in 2021 after four seasons with the Calgary Stampeders. The 29-year-old was a fifth-round pick (42e in total) of the Stampeders in 2016.

The Alouettes have also signed offensive lineman Rodeem Brown, defensive lineman Yanis Chiat, linebacker Rashaad Harding, as well as receivers Demetris Robertson and Jermaine Wynn.
