The Agitos, the emblem of the Paralympic Games installed since the end of June on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, will move and will soon be installed in a complex dedicated to disabled sports in Bobigny, announced the president of the Seine-Saint-Denis department, Stéphane Troussel, on Thursday, September 19, on France Inter.
According to information from France Inter, these three large commas, red, blue and green, which echo the Paralympic motto “The mind in motion”were dismantled during the night from Wednesday to Thursday and headed towards Seine-Saint-Denis. In the near future, they will adorn Le Prisme, the large sports complex dedicated to disabled sports in Bobigny. “We will first store them, and then, on the eve of the inauguration, before Christmas, I hope, they will be installed.”explains Stéphane Troussel to France Inter.
This complex will be a site where amateurs and professionals, with or without disabilities, will be able to practice climbing, boccia, judo or archery. The complex will have an area of 13,000 square meters on three levels, fully accessible. “It will be a real hub for disabled sports in Greater Paris, there will be none anywhere else,” assures Stéphane Troussel.
