His big brother, George (9 years old) was even granted a leading role by having to carry, with three other pages, his grandfather’s train to the altar of Westminster Abbey. Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5, had no official role due to their young age.

And the little boy did not fail to show his boredom: he was first photographed yawning when entering Westminster. Then he repeated the same gesture inside the religious building, once seated between his mother and his sister. Moreover, his parents spared him the two hours of the ceremony: the child slipped away for a few long minutes, disappearing from the screens: “He was brought home”could be heard as comments. A disappearance which corresponded to the moment when King Charles III and Queen Camilla disappeared in turn to change their outfit. Then, finally reunited with his sister and brother, Louis seemed to be having a good time in the carriage taking him to Buckingham. And there again, Louis cracked a little facetiousness by making a slight pout and sticking his hand on the window. Imitating his elders, he waved to the massive crowd that had come especially for the big event. He was even seen shouting something to the public… The experts of the British monarchy tried to read the lips of the little boy, without success.
