A new case that will cause a lot of ink to flow and which Isabelle Adjani would have done well… Indeed, according to information from our colleagues from Release, the actress with five Césars would have been indicted in October 2020 in the context of a fraud case. A certain Sébastien G., a strategy consultant and called alongside the actress to manage her company, Isia Films, reportedly filed a complaint against the actress in 2015, accusing her of having falsified the repayment of her debts to her. .
We have to go back to 2011 to shed light on this case. At that time, the strategy consultant “opens a line of credit in his personal bank account, pays some of his taxes, gets him assigned an American Express card”highlighted Release. But the diva of French cinema would have spent lavishly and put Sébastien G. in a worrying situation. This is why he then decides to withdraw his bank card, which will lead to his eviction from the company Isia Films thereafter. At that time, Isabelle Adjani owed him 157,000 euros that he would have advanced to her.
Towards a non-place?
Faced with his account which is not filling up, and the debts still not filled, Sébastien G. then asks the actress for an explanation. To reassure him, she would have “sent proof of payment by transfer, emails from the bank and other documents supposed to attest to the payment of the funds and its good faith. But in reality, the money would never have reached its recipient”. It was finally in 2015, tired of this delay, that the strategy consultant decided to file a complaint according to our colleagues.
But the one who recently felt unwell in Daily would not be the only one to be the subject of legal proceedings. Indeed, Mimi Marchand, boss of the paparazzi agency Bestimage, and friend of Isabelle Adjani supposed to manage the image of the latter, would have given “false proof of payment”. However, so far, the two “friends” would have rejected each other’s responsibilities… For his part, Me Olivier Pardo, the actress’s lawyer, declared that he did not want to do “no comment on this old case which is heading for a dismissal because there is no charge”.
