“It’s always a moment of deep joy to come here. These are my roots and it always has a nice effect on me. What impresses me is also this wall of vines in front of the cellar, it makes you want to go harvest,” confided Charlotte de Turckheim.

A long history with the Turckheim cellar

The “Charlotte de Turckheim cuvée” is a bottle that sells well every year. The price is around ten euros. It is produced in 25,000 copies.

The history of the Turckheim cellar and the Turckheim family dates back to 1962, when the first “Baron de Turckheim reserve” was established. On the occasion of Charlotte de Turckheim’s visit, the actress was also named ambassador of the wine-growing town of Turckheim, located on the wine route.
