In Trappes, in Yvelines, it is now possible to go see a film at the Omar Sy cinema. The actor is one of the favorite personalities of the French since his César for Untouchables and has enjoyed international success since the broadcast of the Lupine series. Omar Sy did not hide his emotion by inaugurating a cinema in his name, Saturday April 27, in the presence of a won over audience.
“The recognition of the Trappists”
“I have indeed had some international recognition, but the recognition of the Trappists is worth more than everything else”, thanked Omar Sy in front of the crowd. The Grenier à sel de Trappes has been welcoming lovers of the seventh art since 1979, where the actor discovered his passion. He notably remembers having discovered Germinal with the school. To share his notoriety with as many people as possible, Omar Sy has just co-founded a production company. “Carousel is about choosing the stories you want to tell, but also choosing the method”he explains.
