For his first issue of “Vivement dimanche” on France 3, this August 28, Michel Drucker received Bernard Campan to discuss his current events, marked by the theatrical release of the film “La Dégustation” on August 31. But we know the host, who will celebrate his 80th birthday next September, very sensitive to focusing on the personal history of each of his guests. And Bernard Campan was far from suspecting what was in store for him! A surprise as beautiful as it is unexpected! Gradually, the host slipped from the actor’s professional career to his special relationship with… his mother. “Do you know a village called Trescléoux?” he asks, knowing of course that this is the place where his mother lives. invite you to discover an old video in which the host was talking with Jacqueline Campan.
“You want to make me cry”
The latter remembers her little boy at school, when she was herself a French and Italian teacher: “I had him as a pupil in fourth and third. He was very wise, he didn’t want to hurt his mom,” she says. And to add: “He is very sensitive. For me it’s a quality, and secondly as a quality, he doesn’t always want to show his sensitivity”. Like the day when, for his first day of kindergarten, he had left, assuring him that he would not cry when his eyes were filled with tears… After this emotional sequence, Bernard Campan seems very touched: “You want to make me cry,” he told Michel Drucker! He immediately replies: “I wanted to show you this. We didn’t dare warn you so I called Pascal Légitimus. He said “it will make him happy”. The “little handkerchief” effect worked wonderfully… and only Michel Drucker today seems to still be able to create it in his mythical show.
