This 3-week festival, created in 2018 by Isabelle Hébrard and Jean-Yves Lacorne, engages a musical and vocal work with some talented singers during concerts taking place, for the most part, in theAbbey of Our Lady of the Star of Montebourg.
On the program this year:
– Tuesday July 19 at 8:30 p.m. at the Abbey, “Diane and Saint-Hubert”recital by Annabelle Cardron-Bastard, soprano and Romain Bastard, organ, with the hunting horns of the Channel soners.
– Friday July 22 at 8:30 p.m. at St-Jacques Church, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in a violin and organ version, Jean-Claude Tartour/violin, Jean-Yves Lacorne/organ
– Saturday July 23 at 11 a.m. at the Abbey, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in a violin and organ version, Jean-Claude Tartour/violin, Jean-Yves Lacorne/organ
– Friday July 29 at 8:30 p.m. at the Abbey, “Candlelight Tours” by the Orage ensemble conducted by Isabelle Hébrard. With Elyette Ben Aych and Alain Ussel/recitation, Mélanie Decroix/choreography, Martial Boulègue/violin, Victor Korsakov/accordion, Jean-Yves Lacorne/organ. Concert/Show sailing according to the text “Vents du Sacré” by Sylvie Germain.

And always, the open house choir evenings, Mondays and Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.. Of the evenings open to choristers from the region and holidaymakers, amateurs or not to sing, decipher, improvise around the organ. Open to all levels, without fees or registration, under the direction of Isabelle Hébrard (choirmaster and teacher of choral singing at the Ateliers Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris). The Choral Evenings offer rich exchanges with music lovers from the region so don’t hesitate any longer!
