Retirees are deprived of revaluation for the month of August and will have to wait another month. Pensions paid tuesday august 9 should have been increased by 4%.

They were to benefit from a boost on Tuesday August 9, but retirees will have to wait another month, until September, to collect the‘increase 4% of their pension. If some do not see any inconvenience there, affirming that the “shift is not significant”others, like Gérard Coquerelle, would have preferred to receive this revaluation now. “I’m going on vacation in September, so indeed, it would have allowed to put a little more butter in the spinach”explains the retiree.

For example, for a pension of 1,000 euros, it will remain unchanged on August 9. The 40 euros revaluation, or 4%, will not be paid. But on September 9, the pension will increase to 1,080 euros thanks to the catch-up for the month of August. In October, and the following months, it will return to its new amount, namely 1,040 euros. The executive was however committed to ensuring that the boost arrived in time. But discussions of the bill on purchasing power lasted longer than expected in the National Assembly.
