The Granville Carnival Organizing Committee had been working since December on different configuration scenarios to be able to maintain the event. Faced with the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic and the health restrictions that this implies, it was finally the cancellation that was decided. The organizers indicate that they did not want “a pale copy” of the carnival.
