The 15-year-old schoolboy violently attacked in Viry-Châtillon is dead

The 15-year-old schoolboy violently attacked Thursday near his establishment in Viry-Châtillon (Essonne) died on Friday April 5, the Evry prosecutor announced in a press release. He was hospitalized in serious condition. “An investigation has been opened into the charges of assassination and violence in meetings near a school establishment”, specifies the prosecution. No suspects have been arrested.

Found “in a street located near his college”the teenager was transported to Necker hospital and “operated urgently during the night”recalls the press release from the prosecution. “The attackers fled” affirmed the prosecutor Thursday evening; a police source then explained to France Télévisions that “three alleged attackers [étaient] wanted and not identified”.

“Investigations are continuing to determine the circumstances of these criminal acts and allow the arrest of the perpetrators”concludes the prosecutor’s press release. Security will be reinforced in front of Les Sablons college, but also in the neighborhood and the entire city, said the mayor of Viry-Châtillon, Jean-Marie Vilain.
