that of Georges Méliès will take off well Friday evening in Mulhouse!

Professor Barbenfouillis, president of the Club des Astronomes, decides to undertake an expedition to the Moon. Accompanied by six scholars, he climbs into a gigantic shell fired by a no less enormous cannon. Arrived safely on the Moon, the astronomers discover the “earthlight”, then fall asleep, exhausted. They dream of stars and comets presented or ridden by wondrous creatures.

Duration of the film: 14 min followed by a debate moderated by Nicolas Bézard.
Opening of the museum at 6:30 p.m. to visit the Biennale exhibition before the screening which will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Coincidentally, the evening takes place the day before the (postponed) launch of the Artemis-1 mega-rocket by NASA.
