A hundred Thales employees in Laval (Mayenne) blocked access to the site on Thursday February 24, reports France Bleu Mayenne. This “black Thursday” initiated by the inter-union aims to obtain “significant salary increases”says France Bleu Mayenne.

“Chains with padlocks surround the access gates to the Laval site of Thalès”, describes France Bleu Mayenne. According to the unions, more than 50% of the employees of this site, which specializes in communication boxes for aviation, are mobilized.

With the approach of the annual negotiations on salaries, the management of the group is proposing an average increase of 3%. This amount is insufficient for Stéphane Cadoret, CFTC union representative at Thalès Laval, quoted by France Bleu Mayenne: “In view of the group’s financial results, which are dizzying and beyond the objectives set by the group’s management, we have requested a minimum increase of 4% for all employees and retroactivity to January 2022”.
