The famous host of Miss France is back behind a microphone. Indeed, Jean-Pierre Foucault hosts the Culture Médias program on Europe 1 for a week during the Thomas Isle holidays. A surprise return that no one expected, which was initiated by the radio station.
This Tuesday, April 16, Jean-Pierre Foucault was the guest of Buzz TV. Facing Damien Canivez and Sarah Lecoeuvre, he assured that there was no problem with the TF1 channel following his return to the radio.
“Everything is fine with TF1”
Questioned by the journalists of the show to find out if there were tensions with the leaders of TF1 with this return on
Europe 1, the host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ? states: “I have no problems with TF1
. TF1 with whom I maintain extremely courteous relations, to give you an example: when France 3 asked me to make A Murder in…, I asked TF1, they told me ‘with great pleasure, we are waiting for the moment when we will be able to look at you’ so I have very, very courteous relations.”
Jean-Pierre Foucault reveals that he did not even ask the channel. “I didn’t ask the question. For what ? Because my life is not television, my job is radio. (…) Don’t worry, everything is fine between TF1 and me” he said.

Emotionally linked to the TF1 channel
“You are not tied hand and foot with TF1, is that what we should tell ourselves?” asks Damien Canivez. “Yes, I am emotionally linked hand and foot with TF1 since I was the first to be hired by TF1 in 1987 and a few days later, I am still there and happy to be there. And with confidence.” explains Jean-Pierre Foucault.
The channel apparently did not react to this feedback. “Do you know how management reacted? They sent you a little message ?” asks Sara Lecoeuvre. “No“, retorts the host. “Did we really have to react? Is this really a momentous event?” the television man is surprised. “Ah yes, the return of Jean-Pierre Foucault to the radio, we confirm it to you” affirmed the two journalists.
