Disappeared in Vendée since March 27, the body of Karine Esquivillon has just been found dead in a Vendée wood on the night of June 15 and 16. His companion, Michel Pialle, confessed while in police custody to having killed his wife and gave instructions to the police to find her body according to The Parisian.
The 51-year-old second-hand dealer explained that he accidentally killed his partner while handling a weapon. At the end of May, however, he assured the opposite and was firm. In fact, teams of “Seven to Eight” came to meet him to find out his state of mind in the face of the sudden disappearance of Karine Esquivillon. During the interview, and as during all his hearings, Michel Pialle maintained that his wife had left “voluntarily” their home and hadn’t been heard from since.

“I think I’m the only person in France to be happy to have the gendarmes at home…”he said during his visit to “Seven to Eight” on TF1 before continuing: “No, but it’s silly to say as I know that, indeed, in this type of story, it’s always the same person that the suspicions fall on, I told them ‘go ahead, no problem, I don’t blame me, do whatever you have to do'”.
When the teams of TF1 asked him how he lived the suspicions against him, the 51-year-old second-hand dealer also provided the “to understand”Insofar as “indeed there have been cases that have hit the headlines: Daval, Jubillar… I understand”. “I am as worried as the others since I do not understand that she does not give news and each passing day worries me more and more“, he also added, always during the same interview.
Separated for several years from Karine Esquivillon, Michel Pialle still lived by his side. But she told him of her desire to go and live in the south of France and end their “cohabitation”. It is for this reason, according to his statements, that he took nearly a week to report his disappearance.
