Texas Abortion Law | Supreme Court allows courts to intervene

(Washington) The United States Supreme Court on Friday allowed federal courts to intervene against a severely restrictive Texas abortion law, without going so far as to suspend it.

The half-hearted decision removes the procedural hurdles that have so far prevented federal court judges from blocking Texas law, which violates high court jurisprudence.

The text banned since 1er September for Texans to abort after six weeks of pregnancy, while the Supreme Court guarantees the right to abortion during the first two trimesters.

More details to come.
