Olympique Lyonnais formalized, Thursday, March 31, the arrival of Mateus Cardoso Lemos Martins, better known as Tetê, until the end of the season. The 22-year-old Brazilian striker previously played with Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. He is the first player to sign with a French club following the LFP’s decision of March 17 to authorize French clubs to welcome, exceptionally, players who played in the Ukrainian or Russian championships before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
An international U23 player with Brazil, Tetê is part of this promising generation knocking on the doors of the national team.
