All rugby players are now more strictly controlled: they will now have to comply with two tests per week minimum, in Top 14 as in Prod 2.
Faced with the epidemic outbreak and the wave announced due to the Omicron variant, the National Rugby League yesterday modified its Covid-19 health protocol.
Tests therefore imposed even on the vaccinated, which was not the case until now. But it is always stricter for the few unvaccinated players: they will have to do anti-gene and PCR tests every 24 hours. Moreover, the last test will have to take place two days before each meeting.
Finally, the League has specified the conditions for requesting a postponement of a match: a club can only do so if it lacks in its ranks, a minimum of 15 players under professional contract.
