This means that EMS employees, educators and support staff will have the right to be tested directly in the clinic. Staff in education were already entitled to it.

“More than anything, we want our educational childcare services to remain open. This is a very important service for families in Quebec, but we must also ensure the safety of staff and toddlers who do not yet have access to vaccination, ”explained Mr. Lacombe.

In addition, the government has also indicated that new self-test distribution phases will take place in January and February. He thus wishes to make it easier for parents to test their children.

Mr. Lacombe also insisted on the fact that this initiative had been put forward to “continue to promote the protection of staff and children attending educational childcare services”.
